The reality behind my photos

It’s a well-known fact that social media is a facade. But, sometimes, we forget that. So, I’m going to walk through the reality behind some of my photos…

Disclaimer: some of these pictures are extremely low-quality. My apologies!

Ahhh. A lovely mother-daughter weekend trip to Asheville. I look all perky and happy in this photo when in reality, my feet were bleeding from my shoes.

Aw. My friend's high school graduation party. Too bad the next day, I got diagnosed with mono. Fight through the pain, Rach, fight through the pain.

Celebrating my best friend's 19th birthday in Charlotte… we had a delicious dinner, but then our car broke down, and we were stranded in the city for over an hour.

This time it was my 19th birthday! Minutes before this photo, I burned my thigh with a steamer and was left with a lovely blister.

#5

Just your average mother-daughter selfie? Nope! My precious little niece Piper was born an hour after this photo was taken!

#6

Sibling bonding in Barbados with my brother, but in reality, I was suffering from an extreme case of heat rash (per usual).

#7

Ending this one on a high note… Sophomore year spring break. Quite literally minutes before classes got cancelled due to a looming pandemic… you ever heard of COVID-19? What a doozie!
